"This poignant and honest peek over Carrie Barnes's shoulder and into the journal of the months spent with a dying grandmother will resound with anyone who has ever been or known one of these unsung angels otherwise known as caregivers."

Suzanne Strempek Shea, author of Becoming Finola.

CHATTER FROM LISBETH
Hello and thanks for stopping by my website. Summer is sliding past and fall is almost upon us. I don't know about you, but I am ready to get my nose to the grindstone. With the lazy days of summer slipping away, it is time for me to get to the finish line with the rough draft of novel number two, Tessa and Claudine.

I'm working on those ending chapters, trying to get all of the puzzle pieces together. Tessa, the protagonist, is married now, but still embroiled in a series of problems related to her family background. No matter where she goes, trouble comes with her. This story is about two sisters who have opposing personalities. Tessa is determined to draw Claludine closer to her.
We'll see if that ever happens. Right now Tessa is convinced that Claudine simply will never like her.

If any of you can relate to this sister dilemma, please drop me a note, give me some tips on what you do to help connect with your sibling. I'd love to hear from you.

Here's wishing you a happy fall.

Lisbeth
